JUGEND für Europa, DBJR (German Federal Youth Council) together with the bilateral Youth Offices and other institutions in the field of international and European youth work in Germany, intend to carry out a multilateral youth exchange project with 80 participants from 20 countries under the title "Youth4Peace ‘United voices: Future choices’”.
This youth exchange (with an in-person phase in Berlin, 3-10 May 2025) seeks to prioritize youth voices, offering a space where participants from over 20 countries can connect, exchange views, and collaboratively address critical questions about the future. "Youth4Peace" aims at serving as a platform for transnational exchange. In our view a transnational youth exchange can provide an invaluable tool for fostering peace, preventing conflict, and supporting sustainable development. Participants will examine national, European, and international democratic processes, analyzing their vulnerabilities and challenges.
The project culminates in the creation of a "Youth Agenda", a manifesto to be publicly presented to policymakers on 8 May 2025 marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the liberation of Germany and Europe from National Socialism.
Furthermore, participants will be given the opportunity to develop prototype-initiatives that propose tangible actions to promote peace and democracy.
Interested young people are invited to register by January 31, 2025 using the attached registration form for each interested person.
Further information on the project can be found in the attached PDFs.
